In order to take advantage of all the features Instagram has to offer through DotSimple, it's crucial to associate your Instagram Business profile with a Facebook Page (Overview of Instagram profile types).
Note that this doesn't mean you are obligated to publish posts on Facebook when using Instagram; the association mainly allows for necessary permissions to be granted via Facebook.
Note: You can only link one Instagram profile to a single Facebook Page and vice versa. If you haven't created a Facebook Page yet, please refer to the instructions on 'How to Create a Facebook Page.'
Ensure your Instagram account is set to a Business profile. For guidance, see the section on 'Understanding Instagram Profile Types.'

Verify that you have the required permissions here:
Classic Facebook Page: Admin or Editor Page roles are necessary.
Updated Facebook Page Experience: Full or partial control is required.
Facebook Business Manager Asset: You need management access to the Page within your Business Manager account. For more details, refer to the Facebook help guide 'How to Add People to Your Business Manager.'
Follow Instagram's official guidelines to link your Instagram account to your Facebook Page.
Now you’re ready to add your Instagram Business profile to DotSimple. If your Instagram profile is already connected to DotSimple, add it again and DotSimple will automatically update it for you when you complete the process.
