# How do I use the media library?

In this article, we show you how to effectively use the media library to manage your files and designs.

**1\. Open Media Library**  
To open the media library, just click on Media Library in the left menu bar. Here you have access to all your uploaded files.

**2\. Upload Files**  
You can easily drag & drop files into the media library.  
When you upload a file, you have the option to immediately edit it as a new post.  
If you accidentally uploaded the wrong file, you can easily delete it.

**3\. Create Folders**  
To keep a better overview of your files, you can create folders. This helps you organize your uploaded files better.

**4\. Rename Files**  
In the media library, you can rename files by hovering over the file name with your mouse and clicking on it. You can then adjust the name.

**5\. Use stock images and GIFs**  
The media library offers a selection of stock images and GIFs. If you're looking for a specific image or GIF, simply enter the desired term in the search bar.

**6\. Templates and designs**  
In the media library, you can find various templates prepared for specific occasions. You can use them or create your own design.  
Click on Create New to create a new design or edit an existing template.

**7\. Customize design**  
If you want to edit an existing template, you can make changes to text color, font, and font size.  
Add new text, images, or elements (like lines or shapes) to personalize your design.  
To move elements around, you can use the Layers feature.

**8\. Adjust size and save**  
You can adjust your design for different platforms, like an Instagram Story, by clicking on Resize and selecting the appropriate option.  
If you're happy with your design, you can download it or save it to the library.

**9\. Manage designs**  
If you want to edit your designs later, you can access them via the "My Designs" option.

**IMPORTANT NOTE:**  
After editing a design, remember to save it again so you don’t lose your changes.
