How it works
If you want to tag someone on Instagram, make sure to enter the account name correctly. While you're creating your post, just type @profilename in the text. For example: @dotsimple.io. Once you publish the post, the profile will be linked and visibly tagged.

Tagging with @profilename currently works on these platforms:
Instagram
TikTok
X (formerly Twitter)
For other networks like Facebook or LinkedIn, this feature is currently still in the works.
