Which social media channels show the analytics

Here we show you which social media channels you can analyze and what limitations there are.

In this article, we introduce our new analytics page. Here you'll find out how to analyze and optimize your social media channels' performance.

Social media channels with analytics integration

You can analyze the performance for these channels:

  • LinkedIn Pages

  • X (Twitter)

  • Facebook

  • Instagram

  • TikTok

  • Pinterest

Social media channels without analytics integration

Right now, we don't offer analytics for these channels:

  • YouTube

  • LinkedIn Profiles

Post-specific analyses

Detailed analyses on post level are only available for these channels:

  • LinkedIn Pages

  • Instagram

  • Facebook

Overview of the main charts

At the top of the Analytics page you’ll see four key charts (for social media channels with analytics integration):

  • Likes

  • Shares

  • Views

  • Comments

These stats are cross-post, meaning they include the performance of all posts in the timeframe you picked. If you hover over a metric, a quick explanation will pop up telling you what the number means.

Adjust time range and display format

In the top right corner, you can set the time range however you like. Choose between:

  • 7 days

  • 30 days

  • 90 days

You can also change the display format of the charts. Click the gear icon and choose between:

  • Lines

  • Columns

  • Dots

  • Numbers

Follower growth

Below the main charts, you'll find a daily overview of your follower growth for the selected period. This helps you spot trends and growth phases more easily.

Platform-specific insights

The analytics page offers extra data for different platforms like Instagram or LinkedIn. This can include:

  • Impressions

  • Engagements

  • Reach

Explanations will also show up here when you hover over a metric with your mouse.

Post Performance Insights

A highlight of the analytics page is the detailed post performance insights. You’ll find these if you scroll further down. Here you get an overview of your published posts, including info about:

  • Publication date

  • Text content

  • Reach

  • Likes

  • Comments

This way, you can instantly see which posts were successful and which ones have room for improvement.

Summary

With DotSimple’s analytics page, you can keep track of how your social media posts are performing. Use the different features to make data-driven decisions and level up your content.

Good luck analyzing and improving! If you have any questions, our support team is always here for you.
