Overview

In order to connect your personal Outlook account to application, you should enable IMAP access and create an application password first.

1. Enable 2-step Verification in the Outlook Security Settings:

   Before you finish your 2-FA setup Outlook will indicate that you can now create an App Password. This will be the next step in the process.
   ​

   

2. In Settings, go to App password and "Create a new app password"

   

3. An app password will be provided. Copy the password, as you will need it further in the setup.
   ​

   

4. Go back to your DotSimple Account and create an Email Integration

   

5. A new tab will be opened, select the option "Select a different provider"
   ​

   

6. Choose IMAP

7. Input data in the fields:

   “Email” - input your email address

   “Password” - input password generated in the “App passwords” in your Outlook Account

   Server information:

   IMAP host : outlook.office365.com Port: 993
   ​

   SMTP host: smtp-mail.outlook.com Port: 587
   ​
