Contacts You Can Message

You can send up to 100 messages a day to your 1st connections level contacts. This limitation is per account, therefore make sure to spread this number across your Active New Connections campaigns.

Allowed Message Types

You will only be able to send follow-up messages when creating an Existing contacts campaign. You Can send as many follow-up messages as you wish.

Create a new Existing Contacts Campaign

1. Go to your Campaigns section

2. Click on "Add new campaign"
   ​

   

3. Select "Existing Contacts" Campaign and click NEXT
   ​

   

4. Add the name of the campaign and a description (optional). This information will only be displayed to you, contacts added to your campaign won't be able to see this information.
   ​

5. The next step would be deciding if you would like the campaign to drop a like in one of the contact's posts, visit the profile, or endorse your skills. You can select as a first step or prior to each step.
   ​
   ​As a first step: this means the action will be the very first step the campaign will take. This means, that it will visit the profile, then like the latest post and then skill endorsement.
   ​
   ​Prior to each step: this means the campaign will visit the profile, like the latest post, then proceed to send the follow-up. After that, it will visit the profile again, like the latest post and send a follow-up again, and so on with each subsequent action from the campaign.
   ​

   

6. Add your follow-up messages. You can add as many follow-up messages as you want.

   5.1 You can create a brand-new template, or add an existing template
   ​
   ​NOTE: Hyperlinks are not supported in follow-up messages
   ​

   5.2 In an Existing Contacts campaign, when you set up a message to be sent X days after, this refers to how many days you want the follow-up message to be sent after you have added contacts to your campaign.
   ​
   Example: contact was imported into the campaign on July 20th, setting the "send after" value to 1, will send the follow-up on July 21st.
   ​

   ​NOTE: If you want to start sending messages immediately this number will need to be 0
   ​

7. Set up the schedule that you want your campaign to work in and click NEXT
   ​NOTE: minimum interval a campaign can run is of three hours.
   ​

8. Check the setup summary, make sure everything is correctly set up & click CREATE
